Printer-friendly versionPrinter-friendly version

In the interest of safety, RAF 2017 Trail organizers postponed two June RAF Trail events to avoid inclement weather. If you were disappointed Trigger Gap and McIntosh Reserve were cancelled, here is your chance to enjoy those RAF Trail stops!

We are pleased to announce the “2017 RAF Trail’s End” with these final events:

September 30 – Merritt Field, Eagles Mere, Pennsylvania (on schedule).

Join us at Eagles Mere Air Museum at Merritt Field (4PN7) for a tour of this remarkable gem way up in hills northeast of Williamsport (KIPT). Entrance fee to the museum is $8.00. Owner George Jenkins displays aircraft you may never have seen. The Future Business Leaders of America will be holding a fundraiser cook-out at the field.

Plan to arrive around noon and please be on the lookout for radio-less antiques in and around the pattern. Park at the top of the hill on the southeast side of the grass runway.

Please review their operations: http://www.eaglesmereairmuseum.org/operations.shtml
